Businesses that hold a temporary Covid-19 Expansion of Premises Permit have until Nov. 30, 2025, to file a notice with the NJ ABC, to convert the temporary permit into a permanent premises expansion permit without having to submit an additional application or endorsement.

 

The notice of conversion must be submitted electronically through POSSE,

the Division’s online licensing and permitting system.

 

A notice of conversion must include, at minimum:

• An updated description of the property to be used for the expansion, as well as an updated sketch or recent photographs of the property, depicting boundaries, entrances and exits, and proximity to the licensed premises if the property is non-contiguous;

   

• Written documentation from the property owner authorizing the temporary use of the expanded property by a license holder if the licensed property is not owned by the license holder
