NJ Cannabis Training Academy Marks One-Year Anniversary
NJBAC celebrated the one-year anniversary of its Cannabis Training Academy (CTA), a no-cost online educational platform to help industry owners and others as they navigate the process of establishing a licensed and regulatory-compliant cannabis business in New Jersey. Since its launch in October 2024, the CTA has become the largest government-run cannabis technical assistance program in the country.

‘Next NJ Manufacturing Program’ Applications Now Open
The $500 million tax credit program from the NJ Economic Development Authority aims to spur significant investment, create new manufacturing jobs, and solidify New Jersey’s manufacturing industry. Eligible manufacturers, including those in advanced manufacturing, non-retail food and beverage, defense, clean energy, and life sciences may be awarded a tax credit of up to $150 million, based on their proposed new jobs and capital investment.

On September 15, the State Planning Commission approved the release of the Draft Infrastructure Needs Assessment and Draft Final State Development and Redevelopment Plan for public comment. The public comment period for both documents ends on December 3, 2025.
